I am a Permanent Makeup and ParaMedical Tattoo Artist, trained by some of the best artists in the country. In 2016, I lost my mother to breast cancer. Then, after a 14-year career as a public-school teacher, I made the decision to pursue a new passion. I had always been fascinated with skin, tattoos, art, and beauty and explored these interests individually throughout my life. On a cloudy January day in 2021, divine intervention gave me clarity and the path to turn my interests, talents, and life experiences into a new career in paramedical and cosmetic tattooing that I am deeply passionate about.
I begin each session with a discussion geared towards understanding the specific enhancements that client desires to make her or him feel the best when looking at themself. For paramedical tattoos, this can mean adding 3-D areolas post reconstructive breast surgery, tattooing a toenail or fingernail where one is missing, or tattooing a lip after surgery due to skin cancer. Paramedical tattoos are a unique, intimate experience, as each individual finishes feeling restored, with a lost part of themselves now returned.
For cosmetic tattoos, I tattoo eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip blushing using industry-leading techniques and quality inks so my clients can wake up and start their day ready to be seen. And I know from experience! As a redhead, I always had to pencil my eyebrows and put on mascara before leaving the house but now with my cosmetic tattoos of eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip blush, I have the color I need to accentuate my features without adding makeup unless I want. Come experience how permanent makeup eases the daily routine while enhancing facial symmetry so you can put your most beautiful face forward.
When I am not working or staying up to date on the latest trends in the permanent makeup world, I have the joy of hustling around town with my lovely family Max (my son), Eva (my daughter), and Nic (my husband). Nic and I delight in a dinner out or movie night at home with our sweet dog, Coco, and bratty cat, Luna, nearby. My life has been a journey that has led me to this career in permanent makeup and paramedical tattooing and hope to help you on journey as well.
